Dear collegues, aquarium lovers,

me and my collegues have developed a new innovative measurement tools for general use in water quality measurement. Nowadays is tested for drinking water quality measurement. It could be a very good tool in aquarium water quality measurement.

I would like to ask you to fill the survey: http://www.survio.com/survey/d/P3N9W2J8M9R8D3R9G
You will hep us a lot!

With regards
Vratislav

Do not take it as a commercial post, because it is not. The developed devices are in several versions and are only the prototypes. They are not commercially available. We are very interested in innovative optical technologies and we would like to know how much the aquarium owners would invite such technologies. Some examples are attached. It is example of measurement modules for cell-phones.

Do you like use any modern measurement devices in your aquariums? Do you have any imagine of such devices or features you would like?

So does this just measure ph? I have to attach this to my phone and have the app installed? Do i have to dip my phone in the tank?
Think i'll just stick with with my ph probe.

Yes and no. pHBOT is only one of the names. There are several versions - module for cell-phone, stand for your phone with integrated measurement design and fully automated version for long-time monitoring. For example, phone module works with cuvette including dropped indicator, so it is "cuvette" reader with high accurance.
All versions can measure many parameters - pH, hardness, nitrites/nitrates, many other. More information are included in the poll / survey: http://www.survio.com/survey/d/P3N9W2J8M9R8D3R9G
The poll (I need 100 real opinions) decides whether the products will be for aquarium owners available on the market or not.
But I am a little bit sad, because I have only ony user that filled the poll.
I hope more users come and try it.

Sorry I took it trying to be helpful but I may skew the results seeing that I don't have a cell phone and don't want one.

I feel a device like this would be most beneficial to Reef keepers but accuracy would be key. It would also have to test for a lot more then was just listed on the survey.
