Aquatek Regular side screw?

What is this screw thingy on the side of my regulator?

And what is that nut thingy with the tiny hole on it on the front half of the regulator?

Safety blow-off and ambient pressure equalizer hole.

Will I ever need to do any adjustments to any of these or is there anything important I should know?

No, its a just a safety device. It doesnt do anything but prevent over-pressurization.
