Aquatic Snails

I have had an aquatic snail for quite a while now, and it is brilliant, but I got two more about a month ago and one keeps doing something strange!

The larger one keep attaching itself to the first snail and staying there for about 5 minutes at a time. It has done this quite a few times, and I am stumped!

Please help!

Hmmn. Well some snail species need 2 to breed. Never seen it happen myself, but I can't rule it out.

All the snails I know but MTS need two to tango, but many are hermaphroditic, so any two are good to go. Apples snails have separate and distinct sexes. Most snails can store sperm or fertilized eggs for a while as well (similar to female guppies).
