Anyone keep Bloodfin Tetras with either Red Cherry or Amano shrimp? I was thinking of getting a school and would like to get some feedback about them first.

I do keep Neons and Rummynose with the shrimp and they don't really bother them.
If they pick off baby RCS I really don't notice as it's fairly planted tank with lots of hiding spots and always see them active in the tank.

I put 10 RCS in my 60 gallons tank with a school of 7 bloodfin. Within 5 minutes they attacked and ate 2. It was shocking to see, as they are normally very shy and peaceful.

Bloodfins are quite nippy and fearless in the right circumstances, I wouldn't do this. I just introduced a betta to one of my three 10 gallon RCS tanks and she has eaten just about every one :( Alas, I had nowhere else to put her after breaking down and selling my 29 gallon...and two tanks jam packed with cherry shrimp is probably sufficient, anyway.
