I was wondering if there are any kind of co2 tablets or anything that can be used in place of a tank? Right now I am not wanting to spend much on the tank I have now. I'm saving up for a new tank that I will go all out on...but I'd like to improve the plants I do have, any suggestions or is a tank the only way to inject it?

Thanks,
Gin

I do plan on getting a co2 set up with my new tank when I get it, I'm just looking for a "for now" solution.
I just have a 30g right now, my lighting is very low at the time...15watt bulb in my hood, I only have a couple plants in there at the moment, the only nutrient I have put in is seachem florish. I am trying to find a couple low light plants to add like crypts and anibus or anacharis (not sure which I looked at). But I'm having a hard time finding any around here my LFS is VERY limited on plants. A java fern would be nice. They did have a plant labeled "fern" no other name on it, no lighting requirements, no anything just fern, but it didn't look like a java.
Anyway when I do get my tank I will be ordering a 55g plant setup for whatever lighting I end up having with it from one of the online supply stores (can't remember which site it was), I've looked at so many different sites. I'll be using Florite/sand mix or Florite/small gravel mix for my substrate and plan to start at least with the DIY Co2 until I can get a whole system.
I will give the Florish Excel a try, can I use it with the florish or does it take the place of that?

Thanks so much!!
