Aruwana Eat Mice.

Gorgeous fish, but I find it disgusting that someone would feed a live mouse. When I had the wolf fish and the Piraya, I used to feed pre-killed mice. They loved it, though it was freaking disgusting, lol.

I would have been more impressed if he had fed a prekilled mouse. I am really sure the fish would not care. If my snakes eat prekilled mice, I am sure the aro would.

I think it'd be cooler if he fed undead mice. :frog:

Hrm. Why the live mice? I agree, feeding frozen mice would be better... but it's not even that. I mean, bottom line it's still mice. Just the morbidness of unnecessarily feeding a live animal and filming it for other people to see disturbs me a bit.

I agree with above posters. No need to subject a domesticated mouse to unnecessary suffering. Can always wiggle a pre-killed mouse around to get the hunting responses from a predatory fish right?.
Also, it's arowana.

It disturbs me too. I know it happens, but sometimes people should know when to put the camera down.

What mammals do Arowana's eat in the wild? I totally agree with zpromoter on that one, there's videos on YouTube of Arowanas eating ducklings too. :(
