Ashland, Oregon

Hubby and I need to get away for a quiet, music and art filled vacation. I was thinking Ashland, Oregon (home of one of the best Shakespeare Festivals on the continent). We're planning for the first full week in August. Comments? Ideas? Advise? I'm open to all thoughts!

I live about three hours north of Ashland. The Shakespeare festival is great and you could check out the Britt Festival in Jackson, Oregon. There are some really nice state parks and lakes in that area too. http://www.brittfest.org/performances

When was the boat thing in Grants Pass? That was always fun. Ashland is beutiful. I miss Oregun.

I like Ashland, they got some good italian food over there, along with all of it's culture. I like Medford better though.
