:help::help: I have a question do assasin snails eat all snails rams etc. or just certain snails. I generally just smash them when the get up the glass so the cories can eat them but if assasins kill rams etc. I want some. I lose eggs now and then because of the snails but they are somewhat of a necessary evil. I would like to have better control.:swear:

My assasins will eat any they can get too, but I must say that it is not a wise decision IMO to get something to control something. They are a very neat addition however

Assassins wil eat any snail they can find with a eye towards easier prey first like Rams and MTS.
They will not kill all of the snails based on size. This should answer 90% of your questions. Assassin Snails

My assassins take down juvenile canas larger than them by working in groups. It's weird they decided to go after the cana in the middle of a dinner with MTS smaller than them and a few larger than them.
Mine took out an RCS today and for what reason who knows because there are PLENTY of ramshorn and pond snails in the tank with them.

Thanks Folks. What I want to use them for is to place into a tank that is overun by snails but not ready to take down. I do have many different color rams and would not use them to kill just for plain fun. Well not all the time. The cories lay lots of eggs on the glass etc. all over sometimes so I need the tank to be free of snails as not to pop the eggs. Thanks again
