attaching java moss

in order to get this stuff to attach to driftwood does it need to be straped on or if i just push it against the wood will it still grab ahold of the wood?

You need to strap it with fish line or mesh net. moss does sink by nature but the current in the tank most times is enough to shake them loose from the driftwood initially if without any kind of securing

?? what you mean? moss will be ok anywhere in the tank.

My LFS stores uses plain dental floss to hold it down. Not the minty kind!!!

It will grow and be healthy without being attached to anything, if that's what you mean. Some people just float it at the top of their tank as cover for fry.

my moss sinks to the bottom, i just shoved it against my driftwood hoping it would attach, yeah i just wanted to make sure it could grow just sitting loose
