Aurora Borealis

Did anyone else in the northern states see the Aurora Borealis last night? It was absolutely amazing. I'm in Minnesota and our sky was totally streaked with green waves. I guess people living as far south as southern Missouri were supposed to be able to see it. It was supposed to be visible in the Great Lake states, too. I've seen it once or twice before while in Ohio, but never with so much color!

Didn't see it last night, probably because I live in Louisiana. But I did see it one time when I took a trip to northern Canada once. Fantastic looking.

We saw it here in Michigan last night. It started out green but by slightly after midnight we had pinks and greens, yellow, blue.. it was incredible, I've not seen them this bright in years.

yep saw them here in southern Ontario mainly just green but pretty cool stuff it was.

What a bummer! I REALLY want to see it but live in Texas.... What time of year is best to travel north to see it??

I saw it, but I only saw the green.

Just to the left of the full moon is the "Aurora Gulf of Mexicealis!"

Quite exraordinary!
