i was cleaning my eheim 2213 and when i dumped the filter media inside of a bucket, i noticed few things moving around.. i looked carefully and there was 2 baby shrimps and 3 white clouds... i scooped them out the bucket and put it in the tank.
today i looked at the tank to find them and found them on the sponge on the filter... i guess theres not enough bacteria in the tank water..

has anyone experienced before??
if so did you manage to keep them alive in your tank?

There should be enough microscopic food in there to keep them alive. Unlike HOB filters the impeller does not get to grind the fish before they enter so they could live in the filter for a little while though I doubt the high pressure/current would be too comfortable.

i do have the sponge as the prefilter..
maybe i should open again find mroe babies :D
