Hi,
Can anyone advice me please. I have only had my fish for 1 week now but have found 9 babies in the tank today. Not sure what they are. I have Mollies and tetra's. As you can appreciate i was not ready for this. I have seperated the babies into a bowl, but am not happy with that at all. Is there a very short term solution to make sure the babies are all right until tomorrow when i can get to a store.

Most likely baby Mollies, get used to it! You can either put them back in the main tank and let nature take it's course or reconsider keeping livebearers. They will continue to produce fry on a regular basis.

i say leave them in the large tank and catch them when you want to give them to the petstore, but many people would buy them if they ar good looking babies.
