hey can anyone help me on this? ive had 4 guppies in this 10 g tank for about 2 months and i finally got my first baby a couple mornings ago but i have not seen anymore? what is happening plz?

If you do not have any hiding places it may have been eaten, they do that. The other thing is if you do have any hiding places you may see it in a few weeks when it gets bigger. I have had them disapear for a while.

Yes on the hiding thing. Did you only have 1 baby or were there more. Sometimes a guppy will drop one or two fry then a few days later have the rest of them. Usually if they are stressed or something. I solve the missing baby problem by putting the fry in a little breeding net/basket that I hang in the main tank. They're safe and sound in it. I stick a mommie in one when shes about to pop then scoop her out when shes done so she doesn't snack on her kids.

A piece of sponge over the filter intake can also prevent fry from getting sucked up into the filter.

You need some hiding places, mothers are known for eating the babies. However your 10 gallon is not big enough to even consider saving the babies.
