Baby tears question

Hi everyone,

My baby tears is spreading however I notice that it losses its bud when it produces new side shoots. I never do any trimming as I don't know how to prune this plant. Kindly help!

are you talking about dwarf baby tears as in HC or the regular baby tears as in HM?

Thanks for the link BK! I am not quite sure HC or HM - I am really confusing. To my idea, it is more HM than HC. Here is the pic - sorry that I don't have a good pic of it.

ahh lol i knew this was going to be the "other" baby tears aka MU (Micranthemum umbrosum)

Trimming it should be similar to HM though.

I still not getting the answer why mine loss their buds - because of trimming or nutrient deficiency? They look different now from the pic above - new shoots are yellow and old leaves are dark green like Anubias.

Which "buds" are you talking about?
could be from a nutrient deficiency or could be that the plants that you got were in their emersed form and now are slowly changing into submersed

Thanks again BK, sorry did not make it clear. I did grew them emersed before putting them into the tank - I got it now.
