Background help please

I definatly agree that paint is time consuming. But you can get it anywhere and it's well worth the effort. Like I said I have thought about trying the oceanvisions, it looks like a nice product. I've seen threads on other forums of people using sheet vinyl (like for graphics) but I have yet to try that either. It looks nice too and it comes in just about every color you can imagine, including gradient shades. I will say there's cheaper methods... that stuff is salty

If I understand it correctly, the oceanvisions stuff is essentially the same as sign vinyl, just thinner. It definately has the look and feel of vinyl, but is probably 1/3 as thick as typical sign or decal vinyl. It is far cheaper than the vinyl used for graphics and decals.

Almost every background is aplied to the outside of the tank, so if you are waiing to add water then I assume you are trying to put it inside? If it dosen't have a side that peels off then you have to tape it to the back of the tank, not the best type of background but it works, try one of the suggestions above.

I agreee that the Oceanvision works great. I have it on three of my tanks.

Elanaran, if you do by chance have this kind of background it is a little difficult to find the seam between the background itself and the clear protectant.
