Backgrounds and how to see them.

Thank you! Wish I didn't have to work today, but so far it's been a nice b-day. :)

Hope its been a cracker so far! Im just trying to get to grips with plants in my 30 gallon, and toying with the idea of setting up a smaller puffer tank as well. Just going to make sure I get it 100% right from the start this time. Would love to see some pictures!!!

Thanks again peeps! :)
I'll see what I can do about pics and specs in the next couple days.

I actually just used a glu-stick to put my background up. It's all blue and using the glu-stick actually made it interesting. I have a 10 gallon and glu-sticked the entire sheet, then with a cardboard coaster, smoothed it out over the glass. In the end it came out looking pretty awesome because the spots where the glue had dried a little and the spots that were still wet made a neat multidimensional look on my tank.

Thats interesting.. do you have any pics ??

i just sticky-tape it to the back of my tank and its fine, but whenever i spill water down the back there are brighter splotches where the water went so i just generally dry it off.

LOL thats what i have on one of my tanks.. one side is even wavy so the rock background looks 3d. Good stuff.

I prefer black backgrounds, anyway. I just have to figure out a way to change the one on my 20 without having to drain and move it.

Happy birthday!!

I actually find it pretty easy to move my 30 and cabinet all in one. Just get the knee in and slide it out. Dont know what kind of cabinet you have, but I was surprised.

All I have is a camera phone, I'll try to get some shots, but I don't know how well the pics will come out.

Edit:

Ignore the intake mess - just added some java moss and apparently didn't secure it too well.
