i bought a bala shark and i put him in my 25 gallon. that was about a year ago. he obviously out grew the 25. so i got a 60 gallon and now he is constantly trying to swim through the glass almost like he is trying to keep swimming. what is wrong him? it is a planted tank. ammonia is at 0ppm nitites 0ppm and nitrates at 10ppm. if any of this helps.

I dont know all that much about this, but have heard of it happening before
You might want to consider an even larger tank for your bala, or finding it a new home, because they just need more swimming space than a 60g

Your tank is too small for fully grown bala shark which can reach 13 inches when fully grown.
Your fish need more space to swim and turn. Bala shark are natural fast swimmer.

Minimum requirement for a bala shark is 120g (minimum). They are also schooling fishes, thus need to be kept in the school of atleast 6 or more.
This could be another reason your shark is "going mad" as you put.
