Hi, I was wondering if anybody had a good source for hollow bamboo poles. I haven't found any places locally that carry them. I'm looking for a couple 3'-ish sections to go in my 40g tall tank that my cresties will go in.

Online it seems I will have to buy more sections than I need just to make a minimum order with most sites.

If anybody has any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it!

Try your local sporting goods/fishing tackle shop. Even a Mal-Wart might have some. Bamboo fishing poles (not sure if the bamboo in question is real or fake, but for decorative purposes it hardly matters) can be found there. :)

Otherwise try a landscaper or garden center. Decorative grasses, of which bamboo is one, are popular these days. Worth a shot anyway. If in the process of the search you become interested in actually planting some, be very careful about the exact species you choose. Some of them are invasive as h*ll and can be a nuisance to you and a severe annoyance to your neighbors. Others are more tame. :)

You can also check at garden centers. Many people use them in gardens to hold up plants or for vines to grow on.
