Hi Out There
I read that Clown loaches like bananas. As I take care of 4 of them, I wanted to give them a treat.

Two of them spend quite a time, about 20 minutes eating from the banana, quite violent actually, pulling pieces of it, then they lost their interest and went back to snail searching.

But what wondered me most, the Corydoras liked it, too. As many as 8 had their go at the banana. I never read or heard about this, but it seems, Cory's like bananas, too.

And the shrimps just loved it, I had a crowd of about 20 of them sitting on the banana piece.

Anyone with the same experience? Cory's, Clowloaches and shrimps?

If not, try it out and post the response here, please.

I fed banana to my clown loaches once. They liked it as did the tiger barbs but it was kind of messy. I did it right before a water change so no problem but I don't think I'll be doing it again soon. Some of my loaches did a weird curved body stance near the banana before trying it.

My sidthimunkis didn't like it & 1 frantically bounced on his barbels to wipe it off. B. striatas were not impressed although the dominate 1 guarded it for a while.
