Does your team have one this season?

The Cards have Scott Spezio, what a deal they got there! A guy that didn't even know if he was gonna play in the Majors this year. He's hitting. He's playing three or four positions well. And he's got that cool red soul-patch thing going!

The Mets

Well let's see, besides Delgado coming to NY and adjusting w/ no problem, causing Beltran to suddenly start producing like crazy. David Wright is happily walking the path to Super-Stardome with Jose Reyes hot on his heels. Martinez and Glavine showing the world even old guys can still do it. Xavier Nady and Paul Lo Duca finding a home in NY and putting up huge clutch numbers. And now, possibly the steal of the century, El Duque for Jorge "the bum" Julio. I'm pretty happy...

I've had Beltran, Delgado, Glavine, Lo Duca and Martinez on some of my SportsClix teams.
Martinez was on a 4 man rotation with Hudson, Schilling and Schmidt. I had to give up some fielding to get those four ( they took up over 1/3 of my points and I still needed 2 relievers and 9 position players). I thought the good pitching would rule.
One of the other guys spent half what I did on pitching, but he had offense; Pujols, A-Rod, A.Jones and Helton.

(BTW, you have Peppered Cories? I prefer mine with sage and teriyaki.)

Har, Har!

I love having a GM that sees the needs of the team and actually takes care of them...This has been one of the most inspiring seasons in a long time...Even if we don't win it's proving to be fun ride...

The Tigers haven't played any good teams yet. I think 90% of their games have been against sub .500 teams. The next few weeks will show what they're made of as they play NY and Boston among others.

I'm not real happy with some of the Mets moves the past couple of days.

Dave Williams for a potential stud pitcher in Robert Manuel. Reminds me of the Zambrano for Kazmir deal.

Old man Hernandez, was good a few years back but is in no way the same pitcher, for a proven closer that was doing well in the setup role. Who takes the closer position when Wagner gets hurt?

They only one I have no problem with is Gonzalez for Adams. Thats ones pretty much a wash.

I've been hearing rumours of Dontrelle to NY, you guys are closer to the action whats the word? Who are they going to ship?

I hadn't heard that.

Do you think Dusty Baker knows what John Mabry is capable of? Or do you think Mabry will sit most of the season?

Mabry capable?

Dudes a career .267 hitter and averages 7 HRs 32 RBIs a year. Has almost always been a platoon player. His best year, thats right I said year not years, are behind him.
