I just returned today from a good vacation at Sunset Beach with my boyfriend... ...and I'm still as pale as my cave tetras... O_O Going to the beach is surprisingly tiring, too, even if you don't swim that much.

So I was wondering...I've been to Sunset, Hatteras, Ocracoke, Myrtle, and Lunada Bay in California, and I was wondering if anyone out there knew some awesome beaches or had any wild tales of the briny deep...

I'll start with a few snippets...to the horror of my loved ones, I have a strange, sucidal urge to swim far, far out to sea, as poor Theo discovered at Sunset (along with my loathing of bathing suits)...of course, once I got him calculating complex physics problems I managed to drag him out farther until he came back to Earth and towed me back in...oh, and every time I've gone to Lunada Bay there has been a dead sea lion on the beach, and they've always been bloated and stinking, instead of nice and dried-up...not to mention the disaster of Hatteras last summer, with my dad being arrested. Something always happens on a beach trip. :D

And for the truly brave at heart, dare ya to post pictures of yourselves in your bathing suits, in the sea, on the sand or harassing seagulls...because I have seen the "Mugshots" thread, and you guys are a pretty bunch of people... ^_^
