Been a while, tank updates!

GDominy

Bottom feeders Rule
I haven't posted here in probably close to a year.. Lots has been going on.

Major events:

1.) I'm single now so my fish passion now goes unchecked (that can't be a good thing)
2.) My 135 Gallon tank lost a bottom seam and destroyed my living room
3.) I have moved every tank I own into other spots in the house... ouch

So anyway.. I'm back into the swing of things again... I fyou want to check out my tanks I've got some pages up at http://aquafiend.plantedtank.net Just click on the "My fish Tanks" link or follow this one:

Good to be back!

You're planted tanks look great.

I know what you mean about the hobby going unchecked. I recently had to pare down my tanks to just four as they were taking up waaaayyyyy too much space.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks :-)

I love this shot.. I took this yesterday after moving the 45 gallon...

Great looking tanks! You have some amazing driftwood pieces!

Is maintaining all those tanks quite a bit of maintenance? Seems like it would be, but I guess you use a lot of anubias and other tough plants to make it a bit easier.

Jeez, stop making me regret going to reef tank over planted! Omg i have to have another FREAKING FISH TANK! I am going into a lifelong depression until i get another tank.

...this from a fourteen year old :D

Awesome looking tanks GDominy, but you're not really single, unless that cat was only visiting :joke:

Seriously though, I'm sorry for the change in your relationship status, but happy that you're able to refocus your creative energies.

heh.. no need to worry about my change in relationship status.. its for the best... We were together 6 1/2 years and it just wasn't working. I started seeing a friend of mine a while ago too so things are looking up!

Today I am going to replace all of the lights in the 135 gallon tank... Should be quite the wiring project.. going from VHO to Compact Flourescent (finally).

I've also got a 12" Fire Eel on hold for me at the local fish store.. I want to check him out and see if he's worth buying!
