Hi everyone!

Total newbie looking for plants to fill up a 2w/gal 5g hex nano tank - current occupants are a betta and some RCS. I have a few java ferns and crypts in there, but I'm looking for some faster growing stem plants and ground cover.

From looking through other threads, I've gathered that rotala, bacopa, myriophyllum, and hygrophila would be good choices? But I'm open to whatever else you think would be good.

I'm in SF, so I can PU if you're also in the city. Thanks

edit- also looking for some small pieces of driftwood to stick in there :)

Darn, I tried to PM you and then realized that you didn't have quite enough forum posts to do that to.

I think I know you. Check facebook in 5 minutes - messaging you there since you don't have the 5 posts on the regular forum needed to PM you here. Wow, I sound like a creeper.

small world! Sorry, didn't know that incoming PMs were restricted too- guess I should make 5 random posts in the other forums first!

Hi skyshard,

I have some driftwood you may be interested in, as well as some plants. I'm on Russian Hill:

- 8.5" tall by 4" wide driftwood that used to be the centerpiece of my 5 gallon hex before I upgraded to a bigger tank. The cherries loved climbing around on all of the little nooks and crannies.
- 1 golfball of moss, which I believe is peacock moss (this would look great on the driftwood)
- 5 saggitaria sublata (good foreground in a tank with a small footprint)
- 1 hygrophila siamensis (small)
- marimo ball

Let me know if you are interested, and I can send you pictures. Thanks!
