Best Bottom Feeder

It annoys me when people dont answer the question but instead give other opinions. I do not have an algae problem in the slightest. I just want to add another fish and someone who can continue to clean the bottom. Thank you for your mostly useless responses.

Yo man be easy! What size tank and what kind of fish do you have. Me personally my clean up crew consist of 1 dehlzi ,1 ornate ,1albino senagal ,1 lampredai and, 1 regular senagal bichir (all those are bichirs) a mystus cat and an upside cat nothing left ever not even fecial products; nasty but ever so clean!:grinyes::grinyes::grinyes:holla

When you say algae, what kind of algae are you talking about? Snails seem to be the most versatile as to what types of algae they will eat, but even then most snails won't tackle everything.

Otos and SAEs are great for tackling most algaes that arise on plants. In my experience, neither are going to clean your glass. Snails will eat algae off your glass, but they leave spots missed all the time. I have all three of these I mentioned in my 55 gallon tank, but I still do touch ups with a razor blade (glass tank only).

I have no personal experience, but a Bushy Nose Pleco is supposed to be pretty good a keeping up with algae in your tank, and would fit nicely in your tank as it is assuming it's not overstocked currently.
