Hi everyone! First off let me say thank you to all those who contribute answers to the forum. Your advice has saved me from making a lot of mistakes especially when it comes to cycling the tank. Here is my question...

I have a small 12 gallon Eclipse Deluxe tank. I also have a small, submerged heater for the tank. Now unfortunately I went a little fish crazy and I think that I overstocked my tank...but now I am trying to fix the problem and make good on my mistake. Fortunately for me, one of my best friends has a larger tank and said he would take some of my fish off my hands so I don't worry about the welfare of my fish. Given the list below and considering the size of the tank, what is the the best combination of fish to keep? Or is this combination while pushing it good enough for a 12g? Thanks in advance!

3 Dwarf Gouramis
5 Glass Catfish
5 Black Neon Tetras
4 Corys
2 Boesemani Rainbows
2 Neon Blue Dwarf Rainbows

MAYBE 3 corys, 1 Gourami and the neon tetras?
see what others say.
Good for you for realizing your mistake. 'fish crazy is easy to do. Will the store take any back as needed?

I would keep the tetras and the corys, even that is still overstocked IMO, but if you keep up with water changes it should be alright. I think the tank is too small for any of the other fish, and the rainbows (I believe) are schooling fish too, but get bigger than the tetras or corys.

4 corys and ONE gourami. That's all that would be appropriate to have in a 12 gal tank.

The bosemanis will get way too large for that tank.

I personally like the black neon, cory combo.

A nice small school of BN's (5-6) and some of the nicer looking cories (your choice there are so many cool looking cories out there) would look great.
