hello
i have 5 pheusdros(not sure about spelling) in my 25 g tank...they are babys.very small. i want them to grow so what is the best thing to do wtaer changes, food etc.
thanks ttyl

ok but how much water and how many times a week...and what kind of food would u recomend..sprinula flakes?(spelling?)

im growing some babys too. 10% water changes everyday and im feeding meaty foods. blackworms, beefheart, shrimp. bumping up the temps work too. i heard flowerhorn guys start theirs at 86-90 degrees.

Since your fish are pseudotropheus i wouldnt' suggest feeding black worms, blood worms, beef heart or any other high protein high fat animal bassed foods. Fry can take higher protein and fat levels but i wouldnt' be feeding them those foods, they arne't really the best for africans.

I feed my fry(newly spit fry) frozen BBS and cyclops. Then i move them up to NLS spectrum pellets. I foudn that the NLS pellets made them grow the fastest. I used to feed them flakes, frozen Brine shrimp and any other food i had around but the NLS makes them grow the fastest. I also feed my juvies small quantities a couple time a day.

Doing 10-20% water changes daily or every 2 days is the most important part. The water changes will help them grow quickly.
