Starting a new tank and i am looking for the best place to buy live rock. i used the serch feature and it seemed many of you liked tampa bay saltwater the best or www.tbs.com but they seem to be out of business or their site is down.
I bought 90 lbs from www.marinedepotlive.com about 4 weeks ago and have been very happy. I used it to cycle my tank and so far so good. They use the spray method of pre-curing to try and eliminate mantis shrimp and other unwanted hitchhikers. You wont get as many hitchhikers as you would from tampabay or gulfview, but I have seen lots of new growth and already getting good corraline. I paid $318 shipped for 90 lbs. I would order from them again, but if money is no object most will recommend tampabaysaltwater.com.
