Best rainbowfish for community tank school?

What rainbowfish species would be good for a large community tank with buenos aires tetras, giant danios, and a firemouth cichlid? They needs to be peaceful and not shy of people. I want a school of them.

i have praecox and only 2 lol in a 20 gallon tank.. i need to stop neglecting my freshwater tank, but anyways they are not shy at all and awesome looking too

I have an australian rainbow and have also had bosemani all are nice.

what size tank? If under 40ish, the only ones you can get should be praecox neons.

I would have loved some bigger rainbows, but I only have a 36 so I have a school of 5 praecox rainbows.

I agree. Most everything except praecox, threadfins and blueyes (similar to rainbows) need at least a four foot length.

It's a 180gal. I'll be having several large schools of fish.
