Best way to catch House Geckos?

I would like to replant my exo terra currently housing 2 house geckos but last time i replanted one jumped out and was running all over the walls before i finally caught him.So any suggestions.Thanks

can you chase it into a container in the cage? like a mantis trap?

Do it in a small room with no hiding places (like a bathroom), make sure any little holes are covered, and have at it. Or get a critter keeper to put them in while you're working...and still do the transfering in a small space because those guys are quick. Good luck!

LOL gotta love the responses HAHA.You don't have to tell me how fast they are, i was trying to catch them for over an hour one time while they were running under all the furniture.

That might work, I just don't know if they would go into the bucket when there are crickets running around the cage.Lol i guess what im trying to say is, whats there motivation?

slippery up something small and put it in the cage.. what are their favorite treats?

Hmm i haven't fed much besides crickets in awhile but i know they like wax worms

When my golden geckos got out I caught them using a medium size pond net. ALL 7 of them got out!!

Have you tried calling "GEICO" and see if he responds?
