i just rescued a betta from my lfs and i was wondering the best way to naturally help him recover color. his head starts out black then his body is awsome (behind the scales is black but the scales themselves are metalic grey) then right near the tail the grey turns to a metalic blue ot turquise. then most of his tail is the most beutifull red i seen on a betta ever. i was wondering how to naturally bring these colors out more right now hes in a decent sized bowl waiting for xmass to go into his 5 gallon bowfront.
ive read about excersizes and some people do a strange once a day feeding scedual and they keep them in the dark for a week.
does anyone know if these work. also will live foods help any. due to the fact i raise praying mantises i have a surplus of fruit flies (both regular:melanogastor, and giant:hydie) and ive heard bettas love them.
