Hello everyone...i am currently cycling a 5 gallon with 4 whiteclouds so i can put a betta in once the water is cycled. My question is are whitecloud minnows compatable with a betta as i'm unable to find information about the two. Thanks for your input...

4 whiteclouds and a betta would be too much fish for 5 gal. First, ignoring that some (bad) people keep bettas in cups, IMO they should have at least 10 gal to be happy, especially if you want to keep them with other species. But if you still want to do a 5gal community tank with a betta, I think the best partner would be a small bottom-dweller, such as 1-2 Oto cats.
I read about a guy one time who kept a betta w/ zebra danios. The betta systematically pecked out an eye out of each danio until he had a school of one-eyed danios.
