Yesterday I transported my 50 (give or take) fry from my BFs house to mine, what a fun trip that was! :p
Anyway, they all made it and I took a pic for all of you that are interested!
Kinda hard to see them so thats why the paper is in the background!

Betta babies

Neat picture. I love Bettas. What will you do with all the babies? I have
read that you have to separate them into jars at some point, though I
have never raised any so I don't know. Good luck with them.
 
I'll give some to my LFS, for store credit and of course keep some to breed more. Usually I only have to separate the males, and "problem" females. Haven't had many problems with my past females, so I hope these ones wont give me too much trouble, but I'm ready for it if they do :)
 
Cute! Someday I think i really should breed fish that I could get credit for... My hard water would do well for cichlids I bet... Oh well, congrats Ems! Too cute to see little fish.
 
The parents were both a medium metallic blue colour, and the mother is a CT! Their father sadly passed away though.
They're about a month old and only have a blue shine so far. The colours will probably start showing more and more in a few months. I'll keep posting on their progress!

Oh and both parents also had/have a little bit of red on their fins, just a very little bit.
 
I have heard that the duller (albino looking) males create the most colorful offspring. but I've never bred them before, just what I've heard
ems, have any of the babies ever grown up? are the ones you just bred from other fry you've had?
 
These ones aren't from fry of mine that have grown. The fry I have that have grown are next in line to breed. I need to take care of these before I get even more :p I'm lucky there's only about 50 of them :)
