ok my betta is getting very sick even thought he's still acting good he's not looking good at all. I have him in a 5.5 betta dueplex and about two weeks ago the other betta squeezed through the divider and well a fight to the death. so when i got home theres my betta with thrashed fins and his dead roomate on the bottom of the tank. so that suck in all but not much i can do. so i i got a new divider and replaced the old one (which i made) and started to treat my betta with melafix and betta-fix. well a week later i notice he getting red sores on his fins, so this sucks so i go and get some meds for septicemia and start treating him with that. now just last night i notice that chunks of his fins are covered in fungus. so now i really dont know what to do and iv had this betta for almost a year now and dont want him to die.

also i have some ghost shrimp amano shrimp and a ADF in there.

ya his water i perfect the temps about about 75-78 he's the tank i nice and planted i do weekly water changes. so it cant be the water. this morning he wasnt doing good at all he was in a mid headstand, and now i have to go to work so i wont know whats going on till i get home. this sucks

If you are going to treat him for something I would get some kind of anti fungal or bacterial. I don't think septicemia is caused by either of those and might not do much. Then again, just doing larger water changes for a while (like 50% or so a day) might be your best bet, just to keep him in as clean of conditions as possible to help the wounds heal. Hope he pulls through. If he does, I would let him have the place to himself :)
