Yea, I know. I got my male betta from a basic pet store, and he isn't exactly prefect. The only "flaw" I've seen is that when he flares up, he isnt' a perfect circle..kinda like a smushed pie. xD! His middle...last fin isn't pie sliced, but oh well.
The female I have is small, and I just have questions
If i breed the two, is there a chance the offspring with have either no "negative" or "mutt" genetics, or just a small percentile from the male?
And does female size matter? I've already had her 2 months, and she's not the male's size ( body wise, without fins ) yet. Some people tell me the female must be 10% smaller, and she's more like...30% smaller.
Thanks!
And will keeping the offspring in a 2.3 gallon for hte first month be okay, or bad? I plan on getting a larger tank to grow them out, if I can convince my mother x.x!
