My poor betta Haley and rainbowfish died today:cry:. He had popeye that I successfully treated but I found them belly up in their tanks rainbow was in a QT. I left the heater and light on in their tanks last night
. Since treating the betta with the Maracyn and Maracyn 2 combo drugs he has been listless the last two weeks but hoped he was getting better. The rainbow had some sort of ulcer on the right side of his snout that was oozing white stuff I treated him with maracyn and the ulcer was gone he was getting better. I came home from a very bad day at work and fell asleep. I feel so bad and stupid my poor fish died from my stupidity:shakehead:. I posted a pic of what popeye looks like and the ulcer on the rainbowfish. The combo drugs do work for popeye and the maracyn for the ulcer on the rainbow so am hoping to help someone else. I really wish the fish supply companies would make a small immersible heater that turns on and off for smaller tanks. I got another betta and a bosemani rainbowfish today to replace the losses but am heartbroken about the other two fish.:wall:
