Betta With a Bump

Its slightly reddish near his mouth....small bump....he seems fine otherwise. Anyone know what it might be?

Can you post any pics? Does it look like an injury? Like maybe he hit a decoration or the lid or something?

Ok this is not good at all...it looks like the thing on his face is growing fast! It looks like a red worm crawing out of his face....plus there is like blood dropplets coming out.....does not look good! Here are some pics I managed to get.......I dont have my tripod so they came out kind of blurry but you can see what im talking about...please Advise.

Geeze i am a little stumped...Is it a worm or some other parasite.? the pics are not the greatest...If it is definitely not a worm it its probably a bacterial infection...These sores can come up anywhere on the body. Do atleast a 75 percent water change and add maracyn. If it is bacterial, it will clear it up.If i could see it clearly i could tell you exactly what it is.

seems like the bleeding has stopped. The more I look at the more it likes like some type of wound....but I am clueless to how something like that could have happened....seems like its better now though...ill just keep an eye on it i guess
