Hi I also just purchased a beautiful new blue betta too. He is also royal blue since he looks like a shooting star when he swims my hubby and I decided to call him Haley short for Haley's comet. He is adorable I put him in a 3 gallon filtered eclipse tank. I didn't put plants in because they take up his room to swim so I just put a no fishing decoration in the tank along with the gravel and also added some established gravel from my 5 gallon tank to get the filter going. That tank has platies and tetras in it. Now am just testing daily and doing water changes as needed. Good luck with your new betta Waldo. Platytetrafan:dance:
