Between a rock and a hard place...

One of my cichlids ended up spending the night between the glas and a lava rock...His side is scraped up pretty good, but i think he'll be ok...Should I get some Melafix, too. The tank is also planted, not sure if that makes a difference.

Melafix certainly wouldn't hurt. I have a crazy clown loach that insisted on digging himself underneath a lava rock and ended up looking like his face was peeling off. Healed up no problem, but scared the hell out of me!

Yeah, funny, he was acting fine only minutes later, I put in the medicine after a few hours (had to go get some) and he was fine by evening...even the scales are almost all back to normal...built to last i guess
