I have a BGN and an elephant nose and a cory catfish in a tank. From what I gather it is not good for the elephant and the ghost knife to be together? They seemed to get along well, I haven't seen them be aggresive towards each other. Should I seperate them?

what size tank? size of fish? I think they both emit electrical signals or whatever thats called ;) ,so that could be a problem, if I'm right on that point. How are they behaving, do either seem stressed? Eating well, active?

I have read that elephant nose fish are supposed to be in an aquarium by themselves. Holly's questions need to be answered sometimes younger fish are lesss agressive. Also both those fish get quite large.

175 gallon tank...the BGN is about 5 inch and so is the elephant. Like I said they seem to be fine together, not stressed they swim together at night and don;t fight. They both eat well..

It might work out, I'm not sure that they are incompatible, but sometimes fisht that aren't supposed to work out together do. You might try this in the general section, maybe someone different would catch it there. Both are such neat fish, hope they work out for you ;)
