I think all your fish are too big for your tanks and they'll never be happy. I also think your spelling and grammar suck.

lets help, not focus on how some people dont care if their online spelling and grammar is proper.

where did you get the bichir eel? is that what the store called it? for now i will assume it is a Polypterus senegalus. they max out at about a foot. they can possibly live with semi-aggressive to aggressive species, but are relatively laid back so that doesnt always work. i have 2 ~7" albinoes and they are in a 55 with a bristlenose pleco, rainbow shark, redtail shark, and HUGE bleeding heart tetra. i think the best thing for them is laid back tankmates that are too big to be eaten. what are you feeding? mine love Hikari sinking carnivore pellets, frozen beefheart, and frozen squid. the hikari food is expensive but worth, it is a great food. who is beating him up in the 40? how big are the other things in the 40?

i meant to just ask if that is what they called it where you got it, i dont know why i also asked where you got it. have you seen him being harassed or seen damage on him?

does he keep a full belly? what have you been feeding? are there enough hiding places for everybody in the tank? rockwork, woodwork, clay pots, PVC piping/connectors would all make great hides that everyone in that tank would greatly appreciate.

have you tried any prepared foods? live foods can very easily introduce parasites and diseases, as well as encourage aggression, and are nutritionally incomplete. if you can get everybody in the tank to eat prepared foods you shouldnt ever feed live, it is only negative consequences. try the hikari sinking carnivore pellets i mentioned before, and see what frozen foods you can get at your LFS. are there at least 2 hiding spots per fish/animal?
