Hey everyone,
I managed to survive the hurricanes that rocked the East Coast in some semblance of order. My apartment losta roof but I managed to move to the one next door. nothing like the headache of moving 200+ gals of fresh and saltwater, even if it is only 10 ft. But i digress.
I've been doing some tank shifting adn my oddball tnak is ready for some additions. I gave my 10 " pike cichlid to my LFS for some credit on chems I needed after massive tank moving operations. He was nussance to my other oddballs and had to go. I'm a bichir man by nature. I had a 3 year old Senegalus (escaped while I was on a research project in South America) and have a 6 month old Ornate. I'v been hoping to get 3 more bichirs to bring my finished tank up to 4 bichirs. Apart from Aqaubid, I can find few places online that offer a wide selection of bichirs. Liveaquaria has quite a few species now, but they're overpriced for the size of bichir they give you. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good site to look for bichirs. Finding fish sites on the web is pretty shoot adn miss I've found. Thanks.
