Thanks for the comments guys. To answer Schizo's question, I only have 1.7 WPG accomplished by 2 flourescent lights bought at walmart for 7 dollars each. Eahc of them have 17 watts and a temperature of 4200K. You can see how I fused them together at the top of my tank at the last picture.

what is the substrate? Is there a freshwater clam in there or is it part of the plant that it is near or is it just a shell? You can see it in the neon pics

Thanks BK and Kimba. I went for natural when I first got the tank. The only noticable thing that isn't natural are the broken pits in the back right corner.

I think I know what you mean, the brown/gray thing at the bottom lright corner of the first Neon picture under the Pennywort leaf? If that's what you mean, its not a clam it's just a ball of java moss covered by an old net, I couldn't find a place to put it, so It's just in the net ball for now.

Substrate is playsand from Lowe's. I have about 20-30 pounds of it.
