all i wanted was a pleco but they had giant tadpoles for a buck fifty. i got one and now i see there's hardly any specific info on the net about keeping them in an aquarium. anybody have some pointers? can they be kept with angelfish? what are their special needs?

um tadpoles are baby frogs, just so you know.

^yeah there baby frogs...

I think its pretty easy to take care of, just feed them. And they will grow legs and arms and craw on land.

i have no experiance but keep them in moist grounds when they turn into frogs and moss helps with that .. oh yea and they only eat live things well to my experience of seeing other people with pet frogs. and yea thats all i know
but when there tadpoles u can just feed them flakes

tadpoles are very easy to care for. feed them veggie foods like cooked peas untill they start to grow legs then feed them meaty foods like shrimp pellets.
baby frogs however are difficult to care for. they need full spectrum lighting and calcium in their diet to grow, otherwise they will be stunted and live a short life.
If well cared for they live a long time Iv got 1 that iv had for 18 years.

i think i would still have mines, if it didnt jump out and dryed up... =[ i loved the little bugger.

all frogs need full spectrum lighting?

So the light that came with my aquarium won't be ebough? hmm I feel lied to...
