my dad knows alot about fish because he use to be a fisherman....he said those koi that size go for about 2000 dollars each...the golden koi in the picture was the biggest one..he was about 22 inches long.

In Ft. Worth at the botanical gardens there are giant ponds with many larger koi, I would guess some are over 3 feet long and quite huge. I love how many will eat right out of your hand, too.

lol

my friend has one thats 32 inches long
and some 4 and 5 foot varieties of other carp

they are in a stock tank (you guys would probably call it a real pond)

its probably like 895689689462897364789683946892634 gallons lol its like 3 acres and 40 foot deep

its full of minnows and carp he had the pond built so theres no other stuff in there cept crawdads and turtles (its a mystery how those 2 showed up outa nowhere)

lol no the crawdads and the turtles

he put the koi in there and the minnows the crawdads and the turtles just kinda showed up. turtles i can see mabey walking around from pond to pond cause ive found a huge snapper in the middle of my gramas 260 acres probably 100 feet from any pond.

but i didnt think crawdads are that nomadic but i guess maybe a heavy rain or someting coulda got them close enuff then stranded and they walked the rest of the way

hell i dunno youd have to ask them
