Bio spira in canada

I have no idea if this was reliable info., but I thought I remembered hearing that it was illegal in Canada for some reason. However, I'm not sure if that also means you can't order it from somewhere. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

To the best of my knowledge it is still not available in Canada. I would recomend getting in touch with someone else in Edmonton area with established tanks and borrow a used filter sponge that is loaded with Bacteria....works just as well if not better than Bio-spira.
Check out Alberta Aquatica , there are quite a few Edmonton members that would be willing to help out.
If you can't get any help there just PM me, I live in Beiseker but I'm sure we could arrange something.

Not illegal per se, just not approved for use by the government yet. Canada is usually very quick about approving stuff like this. I wonder why they are dragging their feet.

Most unusual. Anyone know?

I don't believe it is illegal, but as it is "Live Bacteria" it will likely get tied up in customs for a couple weeks and be useless by the time it arrives (no longer live), also with the duty it would be too expensive to bother IMO.

sweet... Another Canadian :D i think thats almost 10 now lol
