BIO-SPIRA is the #@$% for cycling

I've been into this hobby for a couple of months now, but I have got to tell you that Bio-Spira is awesome!!! I've been having trouble cycling my tank since I set it up; possibly from changing filters and cleaning my gravel too hard. If you're new to this hobby I highly recommend Bio-Spira. Thanks everyone for convincing me to get this stuff, I should have done so weeks ago.

Bio-Coat is not bad either. During my last water change I added some of this stuff and my fish seemed pretty happy afterwards.

hmmm I'll have to read up on the latter product mentioned...sounds interesting in any case.

It's too bad though that most big name stores like PetsMart don't sell Bio-Spira.

i think that they will start after more and more people start asking for it.....it will probably take a couple years though

The reason many stores don't sell Biospira is Marineland requires stores to purchase their special biospira storage refrigerator, before they'll sell them any of the Biospira. Even if the store already has it's own refrigerator. The marineland fridge costs around $400 also, I believe. I heard this from my LFS.
