i have ordered some biospira from US wont be dispatched till next week when new stock gets in.
question is if my little neon nemo doesnt make it can i add bio spira and feed the tank ammonia to be sure that it works before introducing a full bio load to the tank
my concern is that it is travelling to uk and even with poor weather here it may still die off a certain amount have ordered enough to do my tank three times over to help ensure enough bacteria make the trip
i dont want a fully stocked tank that then needs to be cycled with the stresses on the fish
so i am hoping i can add biospira (if nemo doesnt survive) to establish a fishless cycle.
if he does make it and i add the biospira then how quickly should i introduce the rest of the fish in to the tank, suggestions are that you put in the entire desired population isnt it
i am hoping that the white spot will be a thing of the past by the time the order arrives (probably about 10 days from now)
is this an unrealistic hope, there is only one fish in the tank with two or three little white spots on him
