Bio-tope for Tiger Barbs?

I have been looking online for an example of a biotype for my tiger barbs but havn't come across any good ones. Is there a good site out there?


9-tiger barbs
2-albino tiger barbs
1-gold nugget pleco

Mongabay has some of the best and most concise info you're going to find. For barbs try his SE Asian River listing.

If you check out the Skeptical Aquarist, the WetFeller has a nice section on Researching Ecotopes although I haven't been able to find very specific info on the sites he links to (great big picture stuff though, worth a look). Unfortunately his Indo-Malay page seems to be down… (does he know this? Should I have sent him a note weeks ago? ).

Google around a bit and try a variety of keywords. Don't forget about the Images tab either -- reference sites are great, but it isn't it nice to be able to visualize…
