does anyone have a car that runs on biodiesel, or any other carbon neutral car? i want to convert a diesel into a bio as my next car, and i was just curious...

use a normal diesel car and use filtered bio!!! be sure to swap out fuel hoses tho!

you guys are mixing up biodiesel and waste Vegetable Oil (WVO), which is dangerous and could prove costly and disastrous to the untrained diesel owner.

driving a diesel car/truck and running it on WVO (commonly known as veggie) is a little bit more than swapping fuel hoses.. you have to prepare the injection system for something that viscous, add heating modules, and use a different fuel reservoir, at the VERY least.

biodiesel is a refined fuel with higher lubricity content that simply originates from a biological source, such as soybeans and the like. biodiesel is sold at many regular diesel stations around the country, most of the time in a mix with standard #2 diesel. you will see this mixture advertised as a "B" number, B5 being 5% bio, 95% #2.. B20 20% bio, and so on. i've never heard of a diesel car that CAN'T run on biodiesel all day long (my VW Golf TDI can, with no prior fuel system modifications), but in newer diesels, you might want to check the warranty, as there might be something specified in it regardion biofuels.
