So I bought 2, 3 oz pouches today, and put them in my fridge.
What do I do, just dump it in the tank, straight from the fridge? From like 35 degrees to 82 degrees? Do I have to repmove the carbon from the filter? the water goes through the carbon in my filter, then through soome biomax.

the instructions on the container is pretty vauge. Any pointers would be really appreacisted.

Thanks!!

Yeah straight in from fridge, bacteria wont die. I've used it with excellent success, and I am totally free of placebo effects and believing in BS products. I added fish to all my tanks days after it was set up, and immeadiately after adding fish added that. I only saw a slight increase in nitrites for one day, then all nitrates. It depends on if the package was delivered cooled to where you bought it...if so all the bacteria should be alive.

Rummynose tetras, Yoyo loaches, (maybe zebra loaches) Cardinals, I dont know what else right now, But I need something to eat some of this algea too.. Amano Shrimp and oto cats was my paln..

i wouldnt add otos first.... out of those prob the tetras first maybe the loaches or cardinals. the thing with bio spira is you might still get a splike. also oyu add it the same time you add the fish. do it all in one. just cuz they had it in the fridge doesnt mean its good. if it gets warm anytime between you put it in it might be dead. i do wish you the best of luck though.

I added some flake food last night to the tank after I checked my ammonia levels, They were atzero. I am going to recheck the levels today and add the Biospira and recheck the ammonia tomorrow, and add some black neon tetras maybe.. (just read they are good tankmates for discus and they look cool!) If my ammonia is still zero, I'll add the fish and biopsira tonight. I would think that it woudl take a while for ammonia levels to rise high enough in a 125 gal tank to do harm anyway, but I could be wrong..
